Invisalign Clear Braces

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign is a modern solution for straightening your teeth - no one will even know you are wearing them!

Teeth are sometimes naturally in an irregular position and sometimes they move later in life. With Invisalign clear braces, we can treat crooked or misaligned teeth and achieve a beautiful smile without the discomfort from traditional metal braces.

Invisalign is perfect for short term braces treatment, meaning that your treatment could be completed in as little as 3 months - ideal for when you need to perfect your smile fast!

before after
  • Almost invisible braces are barely noticeable
  • Removable aligners give you more flexibility
  • No fixed wires means It is easier to keep your mouth healthy

How does it work?

Using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology, Invisalign fully plans your treatment from the position of your teeth at the start of treatment to the final desired position and this is designed using all of the information you give us about what you wish to achieve.

The specially designed aligners move your teeth by using controlled movements. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign not only controls the amount of movement for each aligner worn but also the timing of the movement.

So at each stage, only certain teeth are allowed to move, which results in an efficient system that moves teeth into the desired position with the minimum fuss.

A series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth to move them gradually. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series, gradually moving towards the end of your treatment.

How long does the treatment last?

Although you receive an approximate completion time for your planned braces treatment, it’s important to remember that the timing also depends on how much you stay on track.

You have to change your aligners at the right time and keep your scheduled appointments. And while it may be tempting to stop wearing your aligners because your teeth “look straight,” it’s extremely important to wear them until your dentist says you can stop.

When the treatment is completed, we will provide you with retainers which help to maintain your new and improved smile.
